Meet Nilmini

A difficult chapter became a purposeful beginning.

In 2026, Nilmini received a serious breast cancer diagnosis and began intensive treatment. The months that followed brought physical pain, uncertainty, repeated medical investigations and growing expenses. Rather than allow illness to occupy every part of her life, she returned to hand embroidery, a skill she had learned years earlier and one that came naturally to her. Stitch by stitch, the work gave her focus, confidence and a practical way to contribute toward her own needs through something she could create with pride.
